Job Title: House Manager / Valet
Location: Atherton, CA (nationwide search; relocation support available)
Compensation: $160,000–$175,000 base salary, plus a healthcare stipend

Position Overview:
A long-standing Bay Area family is seeking a House Manager / Valet to join their private service team. The ideal candidate brings a foundation in world-class hospitality with experience in five-star hotels, luxury resorts, or private estates. A European sensibility—marked by charm, grace, and anticipatory service—is strongly valued. The family seeks a professional who is warm, polished, poised, and committed to delivering refined, elevated service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with housekeeping to uphold and elevate household standards
• Provide gracious, discreet service to family members and guests
• Coordinate vendors and staff to ensure consistency, accountability, and seamless communication
• Plan and execute intimate dinners and larger-scale events
• Maintain a calm, organized, and smoothly run home environment

Qualifications:

• Background in luxury hospitality, with experience in top-tier hotels or estates (e.g., Aman, Mandarin Oriental, French Laundry, European five-star hotels)
• British Butler training and prior experience in private service strongly preferred
• Strong employment longevity in previous roles
• Exceptional professionalism, refined presence, and a high standard of service
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
